For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved. Psa 21:7 ESV
Generally people trust their kings and rulers. I say generally because now, in a corrupted world, there are people who hates their leaders. But in places, countries, kingdoms, many still trust in their leaders and kings. They know that they have the interest of the people and the kingdom in their decisions. people look up for confidence. But when you are the one on top, who do you trust? It says here for the king trust in the Lord. Accountability is always a plus factor in everything. In life, in family, in decisions, at life's crossroads and at life's challenges, it is always better to be surrounded with people. But when all else fails. we can always trust in the LORD. Don't get me wrong, i am not advocating for independence among kings. It is always wise to surround yourself with people. David has his mighty men and early on he had Samuel, Even as king, he even had Nathan. But while you have all these about you, trust in God, not in men, trust in God, not in our own strength. It is my prayer that God gives us people we can be accountable to and with. At the same time may God give us the heart to fully trust in Him 16 June
