But on that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, where my people dwell, so that no swarms of flies shall be there, that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth.Exodus 8:22 ESV
Times of distinction, these are moments when even in the midst of God's judgment, there is still room for mercy and grace for the people of God. While the entire land of Egypt was swarming with flies, in the land of Goshen, everything was fine. Nothing was happening out of the ordinary. While Egypt was starting to experience the wrath of God, the land of Goshen was experiencing the covering of God.
Continue to walk in a manner that pleases God. Continue to seek out His mercy and favor that even in times of great crisis or judgment, God will demonstrate that He shows mercy, grace, protection, and provision to those who are His.19 January
