They will know

And whether they hear or refuse to hear (for they are a rebellious house) they will know that a prophet has been among them. Ezekiel 2:5 ESV

When God commanded Ezekiel to bring the message to the people of Israel, God knew most of them would not believe him, but he is still responsible to declare the words. When God instructs us to proclaim His words to the people of our generation, we don't have to make excuses. When others would complain that - the people are obstinate, they don't listen, it's a waste of energy... who are we to question God. If He is indeed Lord of our lives, we simply obey his commandments and proclaim the word of the Lord to the audience He is sending us to. Is not our job to convert them, it is not our job to convict them - that is the work of the Holy spirit. Our Job is to present the word of God. We will preach the good news to millennial's without bias and without prejudice. Preach with a heart of faith that God will open the eyes and ears of our listeners so they can respond to the Gospel. We need to be strong and unmovable in our beliefs and principles. And if after all of it, people refuse to believe, still, we have done our part, we have obeyed the Lord, we have declared His name, preached His words, and people will know we have come from God. Like in the verse that was quoted above, whether they hear or refuse to hear they will know that a prophet has been among them. 13 November 2018
