And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. Exodus 14:13 ESV
God told the Israelites to stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord. When faced with the same predicament, you and I must learn to trust God. Even if what we are facing had haunted us for generations. If we had been bullied by lies, by fear, by failures, by struggles that haunted our families from generations past, we can see the deliverance of the Lord in our time. Had the family struggled with sickness being passed from generation to generation. Has the family life gone through divorce and separation as far as everybody in the family line can remember. Had the family been haunted with failures. Whatever it is you had been dreading because that was all you were to experience from the time you were born, stand firm. And see the deliverance the LORD has set before you this day. In this lifetime, in this generation. 22 January
