Saltwater to freshwater

Writer's picture: Michael CustodioMichael Custodio

And he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, and enters the sea; when the water flows into the sea, the water will become fresh. Ezekiel 47:8 ESV

Here a river was shown to Ezekiel. at first it was ankle deep, knee deep, waist deep, until it was a river the he could nor pass through. There are many exciting things about this river but one that we can't overlook is highlighted in the verse above. When the water of this river enters the sea, the water will become fresh. Have you ever tried to imagine how powerful that is. A sea full of saltwater will turn out to be freshwater when touched by this river. A sea full of water everywhere, but none to drink can become a fountain of life for people. Freshwater that could quench a thirst, clean a wound, water plants, clean things around it. So much can be done with freshwater compared to saltwater. More than the benefit let us see how vast the influence of what was in the discourse. A river with a flowing water can influence an entire sea. The reason it has the power to that? it originated from the temple. What comes from God has immeasurable influence beyond our imagination. This water flowing from the throne can convert an entire sea of saltwater to freshwater. The power of something coming from the presence of God can transform more than what you and I can think or imagine. 24 November
