“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places. Leviticus 23:3
God designed that you and I work six days and rest in one. The day of rest was not designed for us to complete all the things undone or unfinished within our six working days. It was designed that you and I may be able to rest and be ready again for another fruitful week. Sometimes we have this tendency to equate business with effectivity, on the other hand, it may be an indicator that we have not utilized the power of delegation or the power of producing leaders who can share the load with us. There are other times that people are pressed because they feel they have so much to do with very little time, let me tell you a secret, we all have 24 hours a day. The only way we can increase that is by reproducing ourselves. We must also maximize the use of our time by proper time and self management. If we can major on the majors, then we can accomplish much with our six working days. I am not saying not to do the everyday things in life, paying the bills, driving your kids to school, and all of that, prioritize the majors and the non negotiable in your weekly schedule and navigate the rest. Enjoy the six days you are working as you enjoy the day of rest that God designed for you. 7 February
