Something that society tends to gravitate to is to follow people with money. The Bible plainly says the poor man's wisdom is despised. and his words are not heard. Even if they have worthy things to say, society pays no attention to it. So what do Christians have to do about it? Do we have to change the Gospel message? No, for Paul said in Galatians 'another Gospel' is no Gospel after all. There is only one Gospel, and that is the good news that God became man in Christ Jesus, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death, was buried, raised from the dead, ascended to Heaven, and is coming back again. To save man from sin and death. I will not change the Gospel message,.. but it is my responsibility to get out of poverty so my words can be heard and not be despised by society. Prosperity is not bad, The eagerness to get wealth, that's the one that is wrong. To prosper so i can be an avenue of blessing, and have a platform for the world to hear the message i have to declare is a noble thing. (18 Oct 2018)
