And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15 ESV
Christ himself said that in the world we will have trouble, but take heart because Jesus had overcome the world. Peace is not the absence of conflict nor trouble. It is the confidence in the power of God that in spite of the circumstances we may be in - He will make a way. He will provide. He will heal. He will deliver. He will rescue. He will prosper. He will save. He will show himself mighty in our midst. Put to death the acts of the sinful nature which we used to live in. Do away with these things. Instead put on Christlike character. Even when people around you acts otherwise. We are to imitate Christ and not let the world squeeze us to its mold. Even when we are hard pressed, it is not an excuse for us to act and live like the world. On the contrary we must allow the peace of God rule our hearts. In a fast paced world where you are pushed or pulled in every direction, how do you let peace rule your hearts. In a world that tries its best to press you with anxiety and uncertainty, how can we learn the art of allowing the peace of Christ to rule our hearts. Trust Him. Trust Him, and trust Him. 21 December
