Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. Prov 6:6-8 ESV
When a person tries to observe the things that are going on around him, there are lessons that could be learned all around us. Solomon, who primarily wrote proverbs tell his readers that as they look at the ant, they will learn something. Learning and growth is an attitude of the heart. If we have a know it all attitude, we won't grow any further. If we have an attitude that is willing to learn, even from the ants, animals, nature, there is room for learning. We must have a heart that is teachable and humble that we do not know it all. And that we do not have monopoly of insights. May we keep growing through the life of others. 26 July
