Not to us O Lord.

Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Psa 115:1 ESV

The moment man desires to share the glory of God, that's when problem comes. When success, praise and the accolades of men starts creeping into the heads of the successful, even success becomes the pitfall. May we always understand that no matter how hard we work and no matter how successful the works of our hands have become, all glory, all honor, be unto the name of our God. Success can be very intoxicating. Some people have been gifted with the strength of an achiever. Daily accomplishment drives them. Each day they need to have a sense of accomplishment because they were simply wired that way, but it does nor mean they have to get their sense of significance with what they accomplish everyday. Just because God chose us and forgave us and adopted us in his family, we already are significant. 13 July
