Not my fault

I am the Lord. I have spoken; it shall come to pass; I will do it. I will not go back; I will not spare; I will not relent; according to your ways and your deeds you will be judged, declares the Lord God.” Ezekiel 24:14

When God is giving people a chance to change their ways, many religious people get angry and wish that God would rather judge people quickly. When God executes judgment, people outside Christianity also complain and say "i thought you are preaching a God of mercy? Why are judgment and calamities happening around us?". People had a habit of blaming everybody else but themselves with what is going on in their lives. Ever since the fall of man, Adam blamed "Eve" whom "God" placed in the garden that's why he ate the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. Eve blamed the "serpent" for deceiving her, that why she ate. To them, the ones around them are the reason why they did something wrong, and for that, they think it is unfair for them to be judged nor discipline in the process, whichever is appropriate. Here God said it plain. "according to your ways and your deeds you will be judged". The excuses won't work, the finger pointing won't work. We have to man up and be responsible for our actions. If we are doing the right things, keep on doing them as the Spirit of God leads our lives. If we are straying from the right path, be responsible to admit our sins, repent (change our minds towards it) and turn back to God. He is a forgiving and merciful God. Why wait for judgment, when we can avail mercy. 18 Nov 2018
