“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19 ESV
When great things are happening now, it is naturally easy to forget the things of old, if it is the other way around, it may not be that easy. If any of you have seen the animated movie "the Incredibles" Mr Incredible said something very interesting. Remembering the glory days is better than to pretend they never happened. What am i trying to say here. The things of old will give us lessons, hope, faith, experience, and a firm understanding that if God came through before, he can and will still do it now. The good things is He is in the business of doing things that are new. New but not in the sense that will contradict His character nor His word, new in a sense that we might not have experienced before. Let us not be afraid to seek God for new things, bigger things, greater things. Why? for greater things are ahead. 20 August
