Man, no matter how patient he is, will run out of mercy and graciousness. God is not like that. He is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. When we have failed Him again and again, He will not strike us out. When we sin, He is waiting for us to come to him in repentance and ask for forgiveness. God is merciful. We appreciate and enjoy the fullness of God's mercy but we don't abuse it. 5 July
