Make a positive difference.

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Nehushta the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem. And he did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done. 2 Kings 24:8-9 ESV

Jehoiachin was older that Josiah when he started to reign. But his age does not necessarily translate to wisdom. His rein lasted for three months and he did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. For me it is not how long a person reign but how well did he reign. What could be accomplished or done in three months. Well for Jehoiachin, it was terrible enough to be recorded in the Bible. On the other hand, if we will do the right thing, even 3 months can make a difference. Let me try to put it in perspective, when Nehemiah lead the people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem it took them 52 days to finish the work that had remained there for several decades. 52 days is less than 3 month. Even less than 2 months, but by using it well, Nehemiah left a legacy for the people of Israel. 23 April
