Leave your comfort zone.

Writer's picture: Michael CustodioMichael Custodio

O Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name, and give success to your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” Now I was cupbearer to the king. Neh 1:11 ESV

When God moves your heart to do something for him, your current situation can be the biggest stumbling block to what God wants accomplished. Here, the comfort and privileges of being cup-bearer to the king is something that Nehemiah had to give up while the project was being done. He had to leave his comfort zone so that the lives of others might be stirred to action. Is not the same for today, we can not be in the fullness of what God wants to do in our lives if we remain in the comfort and security of our lives. Take risk, move in faith, live by faith, and lead people into doing God's will and plan. 18 May
