Learn, Live, Teach.

For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the LORD, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel. Ezra 7:10

If we are going to make a difference in the lives of those around us, here is a wonderful suggestion. Set your heart to study God’s Law (God’s word). Put it to practice, and teach His statutes and rules to Israel. If we are going to make a difference, We can not wing-it when it comes to God’s word. We simply can not pretend that we know God’s word. We need to actually know it. Know it by exerting personal effort to study Scriptures. Learning through formal education or even self study is better that not learning at all. If formal studies is available, it is recommended, but if it is not available at the moment, self study through study aides and guides can be utilized. Online courses are even available free through proper avenues as well. Diligent study of Scripture will have its pay off. Then there is obedience to the word of God. Not knowing what is wrong and doing it is ignorance. It is still sin but it is out f of ignorance. Knowing something to be wrong and doing it is rebellion or insubordination to God’s commandments. We need to keep developing in our lives the decision to submit and follow to God’s laws. And last is to teach what we know. Teaching what we live is impartation of something we have acquired in God. While teaching something we don’t live is hypocrisy. It is the desire of our lives to study, apply and teach God’s word to other, especially the next generation. 17May
