And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, none like him for all the signs and the wonders that the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land, Deuteronomy 34:10-11 ESV
Moses was incomparable because he knew the Lord face to face, on top of all the miracles that took place in his life and ministry. Signs and wonders may happen in our lives. Scripture even says, these signs will accompany believers in the preaching of the Word of God. A whole realm of possibilities, signs wonders and miracles can happen and may happen in and through our lives in Jesus. But on top of it all, may the relationship that we have with God separates us from the rest. Moses was known by God face to face not because was omniscient. God knows all things but God knew Moses face to face. That’s a relationship worth emulating. Such intimacy, such proximity, such is a relationship I want to grow more in my walk with God. 4 March
