A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” Psa 110:1 ESV
While some people and religious persuasions question the deity of Jesus, the Father confirms His deity. Here the Psalmist was quoted to say the LORD (the Father) says to my Lord (The SON), Sit at my right hand, until i make all your enemies your footstool. The Father affirms the Lordship of the Son. He did not declare the Son inferior to Him, but affirmed the Lordship of the Son. Of course detailed study of the Bible will let us understand the doctrine of the trinity. That there is one God, co existent, so equal, co eternal, in the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is God, making him anything less is contradictory to sound biblical teaching. 10 July
