Integrity.

Writer's picture: Michael CustodioMichael Custodio

No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes. Psa 101:7 ESV

David, will all his frailties, failures and all, still manages to want to live a life of integrity. He fully understands the forgiveness of God. He can't and won't allow his past to keep him in bondage. When he says no one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house, he was not setting up a double standard when it comes to morality. It was not that he expects something from those around him that he himself can not live by. He knew he failed, he was publicly rebuked because of it. Then he repented. Repentance and God's forgiveness really sets people free. It really releases people from bondages the devil seem to keep them on hold. May we fully understand the freedom that God gives us when we repent, that you and i can fully live a life of integrity and expect the same from those working under our leadership and authority. 9 july
