Each one of us faces situations that really calls for help. Where do we go when those moments happen? Who do we run to? Some people run to people, some people run to institution, some people go to non profit organizations, some people run to family, some people simply surrender and give up. As for the psalmist, he says he lifts his eyes to the hills. When everything comes to chaos, we lift our eyes to the hills. We look to the heavens where our helps comes from, It does not take for one to be a rocket scientist to know that we can run to God in any and all circumstances. He is more that able to fix our problems, fix our attitudes, fix our emotions, fix us not just our situations. He is creator and sustainer of all things. That includes us. He can sustain us. May we see God not as a last resort but as the first place to run to when we have a need. July 17
