The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8 ESV
Everything in the world fades. Even the best of structures can erode. Even the toughest engineering structure can not withstand the toughest test. Even earthquake proof buildings won't be able to withstand Tsunamis. We can make the best preparations and hope things will stand the test of time, but eventually it will have its ending. Only God and his word will stand forever. If God is the only certainty in life, and God is equated with his words, let us put our total dependency on the one who will endure to the very end. Everything else will fail. Only God and His word will stand forever.
