Then Job answered and said: “I have heard many such things; miserable comforters are you all. Job 16:1-2 ESV
I am trying to understand the frustration of Job with his called friends. Probably at some point in our lives, we have been exposed to people such as these and May God have mercy on us during those times. He bluntly told them to their face, miserable comforters are you all. May we never come to a point that we will speak these same lines to people we consider friends. And may we never speak words of condemnation to those around us. Even when we are trying to speak the trust in love to those around us, may we not speak words of condemnation but words of hope. May we bring them to God and not condemn them away to God, May our words be gracious, especially we don't know the things going on in the hearts of men. May our words be seasoned with salt. 31 May
