Look at the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds, which are higher than you. Job 35:5 ESV
What Elihu was saying was that, The ways and thoughts of God are higher than that of men. Just by looking at the heavens you will know that somebody holds everything together. Look at the clouds, they are higher that you. Imagine the clouds. Even storm clouds have this altitude on where they float in the atmosphere. Just imagine a rain-cloud. How many tons is one raincloud? And if it fall to the earth, it could have been devastating if something weighing tons will fall to the earth accelerating at a speed of 9.8m/s2 hits you. If God did not break them apart into rain. It can flatten out an entire apartment. It can destroy a compound totally. God is awesome, He is mighty. He is powerful. And if we think our minds can fully understand everything about God and we have fully figured Him out guess again. Each day is an opportunity to get to know God better and become more and more like him. Being transformed in his even increasing glory. 6 June
