Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They shall not enter my rest.” Psa 95:11 ESV
It did not say, they won't have rest, it was said that they shall not enter my rest. The rest that God gives is different from the rest the world offers. The reason God said it is stated in verses 8-10. The hardened their hearts, they put the Lord to the test, and they kept asking for proofs even though they had already seen God's work. Rest is great, rest is designed by God. Rest is instructed by God, but if we will keep our hearts hard, we won't be able to enter God's rest. 7 July
