And Joshua struck them from Kadesh-barnea as far as Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, as far as Gibeon. And Joshua captured all these kings and their land at one time, because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel. Then Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp at Gilgal. Joshua 10:41-43 ESV
Reading the entire chapter 10 of Joshua alone makes me tired, knowing that it was waging war, pursuing their enemies, and conquering their places one at a time tires me even more, even if i'm not actually there. Imagine how God was supernaturally sustaining Joshua and his men as they continued to route, displace, kill and destroyed these nations one at a time, to be able to see the fulfillment of God's promises foe their lives. The action was o fast paced, they barely breathe from conquering one place that they are already marching to the next, and the next, and the next. Think about it. There are times and seasons in our lives that things seems to froze, that everything was in slow motion, and there are also situations in our lives that are so fast paced we barely catch up with it. Whether the season you are in right now is in slow motion or in fast forward mode, always remember that success happens not because of our ability to adapt nor ability to move with the flow of things but because God for us in those seasons. Joshua and the people captures all these kings because the Lord for them. It is always about God and our willingness to follow, trust, believe, and rest in Him. 7 March
