Then Job answered the LORD and said: “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Job 42:1-2 ESV
Job acknowledge that God can do all things. All things that will never ever contradict His nature and attribute. He also admitted that no purpose of God can be thwarted. This is submitting everything to God and of God. No actions of God will be wrong, no actions of God will ever contradict His character. No action of His is evil. It will be just, fair, full of mercy, full of grace. His character is not in conflict with himself. his grace does not negate his mercy, his justice does not negate his holiness. Thus God's actions are always correct, and who are we to question them. What you and i need to learn is to ask for wisdom and understanding. When we don't understand things that are going on, may we have the wisdom to ask God for understanding instead to making wrong presumptions about God. 8 June
