May his days be few; may another take his office! Psa 109:8 ESV

David says of the wicked, may his days be few. May another take his office. In the world today, there are people making their marks in the political arena. They may be new in office, but t does not stop them for making reforms, enforcing the law, bringing order and progress to the place of their authority. On the other hands, there are others who have done very little while in office. Some have been marred by accusations of corruptions and to some extend others were found guilty. There are some who may have deniability in the things they are being protected from but it does not make them less guilty. God places or permits people to sit in power, it also means He can remove them or bring them down whenever He wants to. Power and authority comes from God. Will this mean you and i will always have the right leaders? No. Sometimes, we get the leader that we deserve, there are times God sends us the leaders that will eventually be His instruments to deliver us. 11 July
