As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:10-11 ESV
Our gifts are supposed to be used to be a blessing to others while their gifts is supposed to bless us in return. Do not deprive other people of your gifts and abilities. Use them for the glory of God, and since you will use your gifts, use them to the best of your capabilities. If you can nurture and improve on them better. To the one who speaks, use it as one who speaks the oracles of God. This is using your gift of speaking to the best of your capacity. Do not be lazy in the exercise of your gifts, Use it well. God deserves the best when we serve him. When given the chance to exhort from the Bible, study and share knowing you are delivering the very words of God that can change the lives of people. When given the chance to preach the word: give it your best. Study the material. Take the principles to heart, and preach it with passion. Do not base your preparation and dedication by the number of people who will hear the message. Remember you are an audience of one (the Lord who gave the gift) who commissioned you to use it. When you are given the chance to sing, sing with all your heart. Do not waste your talent for the world. Use it to glorify God. It may demand dedication, commitment and some sacrifices compared to how the world operates but God and the body of Christ, and a lost world will benefit from your gifts. Use them well. Serve with excellence. 29 December
