“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 ESV
Some people took a lifetime to discover their life purpose. There are a few that could not find meaning to their existence that they even end their lives. The issue of depression and suicide is too broad a topic to discuss here, we will try to leave room for that in some time in the future. But for now, we will try to zoom in finding our purpose in life. From the above passage, it was said that God had appointed Jeremiah a prophet to the nations even before he was born. For us to fully discover our purpose, we must find it in the context of what God designed us to be. We can try and seek it on our own, discover it on our own, and might still end very frustrated in the process. The best place to discover our purpose in life is to discover in God, in the One who designed us, from the One who knows us beginning to end and inside and out. He will be delighted to assist us in the fulfillment of His plans for us. 20 Oct 2018.
