“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities.Isaiah 54:2-3 ESV
When you and I are about to expand, when we are to extend the borders of our territories, we need to make the necessary preparations. Here the cords needs to be longer and the stakes need to be deeper. Make sure the roots and firmly established. We can not grow up or grow large until we grow deep. For expansion to happen, we need to grow deeper that we have even done before. The depths of yesterday can not carry the weights of tomorrow. We need to go deeper if we will keep on expanding. Another thing is lengthen your cords. Make sure you have the room and the capacity to expand. Don't push yourself to the limit. Know if there is room for the rope to let go... if that's the end of the rope that it. All you need to do is wait and purchase another rope, get additional rope if no longer have it. Pulling anything to its limits will eventually train it til it breaks. And when you spread and expand, go on all directions. God wants us to grow, and expand, But we need to be ready for it. 23 August
