You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. Psa 128:2 ESV
What a joy to behold, when we see people ourselves included eating the fruit of our labor. When we experience the pleasure of enjoying the work of our hands. The joy, the contentment of a job well done, and eating from its fruit. We are not looking for the shortcut in life. We are not looking for what is easy. Hard working people don't shy away from hard work. Dedicated and success oriented individuals do not fear hard work. It does not wear them down. It is the lack of productivity while working hard that discourages people. But hard work with corresponding results gives a sense of accomplishment and meaning to people. God in His faithfulness gives us a the ability to produce wealth, the ability to enjoy the fruit of our labor, and the pleasure of enjoying life and things going well for us. This is not prosperity Gospel. We don't accept Jesus for a life of prosperity, we accept Him because of our need of a saviour for we can not fix the problem of sin apart from Christ. But in His goodness and grace, He even allows us to the enjoy the result of all our hard work. 19 July
