Done through another.

And behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you: Exodus 31:6 ESV

Reading through all the things God wants done for the preparations for worship, the equipment, the altar, the tools, the utensils, the ark, the curtains, the dress requirements, the perfumes, the oils, the sacrifices, and all that God requires, you might think how can it be done exactly as God expects it to be done. Given the high expectation of God with what he wants done, it might be overwhelming for us. But if we have the faith for it, God has already prepared the people with the skills that will help us finish what He wants us to finish based from His standards, not ours - and that is nothing less of excellent.

When the task at hand may be too complicated for you, when the task at hand may demands skills that you do not possess, when the task at hand requires skills that you do not necessarily have, please consider, it may not be you who actually needs to do it. It may be our job to find the people from among those we lead with these talents and gifts in order for God's work to be done with excellence by the right people he had appointed for the job. The responsibility may be upon our shoulders, but the skills and capabilities may be in the hands of those around us that God wants us to tap, equip, and empower to do what God called them to do. 27 January
