“You shall not muzzle an ox when it is treading out the grain. Deuteronomy 25:4 ESV
To muzzle means to put a covering on the nose and mouth of an animal. Here it is said that you shall not muzzle the ox when it is treading out the grain. When the ox is working, do not deprive it of the pleasure of feeding itself. An ox that is well fed can work harder and longer. When people serve God in ministry, may we not deprive them of the pleasure of being blessed and their needs provided for while serving. Rejoice with the provisions and prosperity of our ministers. Usually when people decide to follow God in ministry, especially full time ministry, they forsake all for the sake of Christ. On our part, supporting and being generous and faithful givers allows us to partner in God's design to provide for them. As workers work for God, allow them to enjoy God's blessings and provisions. 1 March
