Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? Romans 2:4 ESV
Some people think the the goodness of God is an approval of their lives. There are some Christians who think, that because God is blessing the work of their hands... their lives are approved of God. They equate material or financial blessing with God approving of their lifestyle. The only barometer that can make us know if God is pleased with out lives is if it in line with the Scriptures. Sin will never be acceptable in the eyes of God. God still sees sin an sin. When God is patient with us in our shortcomings, it is not n approval of our lifestyle, it is God giving us opportunity to repent. We had been forgiven by God and He won't count our sins against us. And he will give us the capacity to say to sin the next time it presents itself to us. But when we fail, when we fall short, and blessings still happen because of Mercy, let us never look at it as approval. Look at it as God giving the another chance to make it right. We must never remain in sin. He wants us to realize our mistakes and repent from it. 8 December
