Death, inevitable.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; Eccl 3:1-2 ESV

It says here that is is a season and time for every matter under heaven. All that is born will eventually die (if the Lord tarries). Everything that has a beginning will eventually have an ending. There is a time to be born, and inevitably there is a time to die. Death is something we can never escape. It will come one day for all of us. Since you and i can not escape death, we can actually prepare for it. Jesus Christ provided a way for you and I to be able to move from death to life. His coming in the flesh, his virgin birth, his sinless life, his death on the cross and resurrection from the grave gives us an opportunity to receive Him as Lord and Saviour and thus be spiritually alive in Christ. and as Jesus rose again from the grave, it gives us assurance unlike the rest of the people of the world who had no hope, that God will raise us from the dead as well. This is also the reason why Paul can say "to live is Christ and to die is gain". We may not be able to avoid death, but we can sure prepare and be ready for it. 3 Aug
