Crossroads.

Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16 ESV

People of all walks of life have many defining moments. Most of whom comes at a crossroad. It is during these moments that they have before them two paths to take. Be still when we get to that point. Consider the consequences. Think about it hard. If you are not sure where to go, ask God for directions. Choosing between right and wrong, life and death, blessing and curses may not be that difficult, cause the Word clearly states where to go. But choosing between the good and another good, knowing what is good, from what is better and what is best may not be that easy. But bottom line, when we get there, only God can help us walk in the right way. Too bad, in the days of Jeremiah, God had been lading them in the right direction but they just choose not to follow Him nor walk in the right path. 28 August
