So Saul died for his breach of faith. He broke faith with the Lord in that he did not keep the command of the Lord, and also consulted a medium, seeking guidance. 1 Chron 10:13 ESV
People may debate the cause of Saul's death. Some says he was killed by his enemy, others would say he committed suicide by falling on his own sword, others would believe that one of his servants obeyed his last wish and struck him dead. But that was not the real source of his death. He died for his breach of faith. He died because he broke faith with the Lord and that he did not keep the command of the Lord. Our prayer is that may we not breach faith, may we not break faith with the Lord our God and may we keep his commandments all the time. May we have integrity to keep the words of God especially when nobody sees what we are doing. 26 April
