For then you will delight yourself in the Almighty and lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows. Job 22:26-27 ESV
There are times that reading the words of the friends of Job makes you wonder. Which of these words should I believe because they were rebuked by God eventually. But looking at their statements, not all of what they were saying was wrong. It might be the interpretation of some may be wrong. Perhaps their assumption that Job was guilty was running through their minds, as it is, some of their statements agree with other portions of the Bible. If we will relate in to present day Christianity, how can we distinguish people who may sound right but may be speaking wrongly to our lives already. May you and I continue to pursue Godly counsel and wisdom as we go through life. Trust God in matters of wisdom, and prayerfully ask God for people who can speak truthfully and be a channel of God’s word and may they speak clarity and not confusion into our lives. 2 June
