Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1 ESV
Arise, stand up, make a stand. Shine - let others see the brightness in you. Light is and has always been intended to dispel darkness. Same thing is true for us. Like it or not, our lives will be on display. People will look at us and hopefully will see the light that God had made us to be. We must arise, we must shine. why? For the light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Once the glory of God rises upon us, we will simply shine. If no glory of God is being seen and experienced by us, how can we shine. Moses when he approached God did not even recognize that his face was shining after the incident. He simply shone after the encounter. Continue to walk with God and allow Him to continue to be displayed in our lives afterwards. 25 August
