In beach resorts and swimming pools life guards are there for a reason. They want to make sure people are safe on their watch. That people will refrain from activities that might harm them, and to reacue people in trouble. At the first sign that something is wrong they are on the alert. When someone seems to be drowning even without asking for help they will rush. but if a drowning patient won't attract attention he might drown on his own.
Let me try to put it this way, sometimes we are already desperate for help, when we act like nothing's wrong... some people even Christian friends may not be sensitive enough to notice we need rescue. Ask for help. People and friends will be there for us if we ask them for help. If people will do it for us, how much more when we call to God. 2 Nov 2018
